Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ managerial experience at a supervisor level or above in CCSE required.
  • Excellent written communications as observed by detail and completeness of information provided on the state application.

Responsibilities

  • Selects, manages, and develops staff through conferences, mentoring, training, and performance appraisal.
  • Prepares management reports and analyzes information to keep management informed.
  • Plans, coordinates, and monitors service delivery to ensure effective and efficient program operations.
  • Provides appropriate interpretation of policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and standards to regional staff, state office staff, applicants, consumers, providers, vendors, the public, public officials, etc.
  • Collects, organizes, analyzes, and prepares information and data in response to requests for information, reports, and inquiries.
  • Manages office operations and internal resources effectively.
  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with management, staff, community partners, other state agencies, federal agencies and others.
  • Communicates on a complex level with community groups, stakeholders, and private agencies associated with programs and services to resolve problems, provide and exchange information, respond to inquiries, and improve program effectiveness and participates in group and/or community presentations.
  • Supports the Regional Director by assisting in management and administrative operations.
  • Participates in Disaster Relief activities to include volunteer scheduling and tracking as well as the development and maintenance of regional business continuity plans and procedures.
  • Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policies, adheres to agency work rules and policies, and performs other duties as assigned.
