This job is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the scheduling, budget, and technical performance of strategic programs. Ensures adherence to master program plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and leads team members assigned to programs on various project teams or departments. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as an advisor to leadership and program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Capable of working on complex programs and exceptions without direct supervision. Requirements

  • Education Required - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences or related field
  • Work Experience Required - 7 years project management experience, including tracking and planning projects, & PMP or equivalent certification
  • Certifications Required – PMP or equivalent (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Change Agent, AGILE Project Management, or Program Management Professional)
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard (proficiency in various office software packages, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent judgement, decision making and time management skills.
  • Analytical skills and logical through process to formulate practical solutions to problems.
  • Positive interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively and professionally work with people from all backgrounds.
  • May require ability to travel throughout and between facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects in conjunction with complex and strategic.
  • Works in tandem with relevant leadership and executives on decisions and strategies as they correlate to the function’s strategic plan and high visibility projects
  • Lead, coach, and mentor project managers and other staff.
  • Develop and support the control of deadlines, budgets and activities.
  • Manages the escalation of high priority risk mitigation and change management.
  • Develops and reviews Statements of Work and high visibility project presentations as needed.
  • Supports leadership in resource assignment(s) to projects and aids in the evaluation of Project Managers.
  • Other related duties as required.
