About The Position

This Program Manager role involves managing client relationships and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction with product and service delivery. The position requires planning, executing, directing, and controlling all aspects of assigned projects within contract terms, including managing multiple subcontractors and ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality deliverables. The manager will lead programs from initiation through delivery, making decisions that could impact schedules and resources, and will be responsible for coordinating supply/demand plans and quotations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Program Manager
  • Proven skills to think strategically
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented self-starter
  • Travels as required: 10-15%
  • Client service mindset
  • Strong computer skills to include MS Word, Project, and Excel.
  • Solid written/verbal business communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of product pricing, quoting, contracts and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent database management, computer and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to provide leadership and guidance to others.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the defense industry and government contracts preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; in a technical or business-related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Managing the client relationship and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction related to ongoing delivery of products and services.
  • Plan, execute, direct, and control all facets of assigned projects within the terms of the contract
  • Deliver direct technical support to customers
  • Manage multiple subcontractors
  • Develop strong internal and external relationships
  • Ensure contract deliverables are on time and within budget
  • Ensure high-quality work and excellent results
  • Effect growth and maintain a current business base
  • Manages programs which have well defined program plans and delivery methodologies.
  • Leads all phases of assigned program(s) from initiation through delivery.
  • Responsible for decisions that could impact outcomes where erroneous decisions could cause serious schedule delays and expenditure of additional time and resources.
  • Ensuring that all information necessary to the customer is provided in a timely manner
  • Managing supply/demand plans to ensure all deliverables are coordinated to support on time delivery against UEC commitments.
  • Coordinate and deliver quotations to sales organization and/or customers.
  • Ensure execution against contractual requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
