About The Position

Plug and Play Tech Center is seeking an operational powerhouse, organized Program Manager in Seattle to manage multiple projects at one time. The Program Manager will run 3-6 month acceleration programs up to twice a year by setting up events and networking sessions, owning startup relationships, supporting business development with corporate accounts and deal flows, preparing marketing collateral, and ordering promotional materials and supplies for the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong process and analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and create improvements
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in public speaking
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • A passion for early-stage venture capital, startups, and entrepreneurship
  • Good understanding of emerging technologies

Responsibilities

  • Design and own differentiated, high-impact, commercially focused accelerator programs for high-potential startups across the Enterprise AI and Healthcare sectors.
  • Serve as the central project management lead for the Seattle office and its partners, aligning stakeholders around key initiatives, responsibilities, timelines and milestones to ensure successful execution.
  • Build relationships with startups in the accelerator program, holding intake and exit interviews, and ensuring startups are on track to meet program goals.
  • Grow and maintain an ecosystem of mentors, VCs, and service providers to bring more value to the program.
  • Set up sessions for startups to meet with Mentors, VC’s, and corporate partners.
  • Collect feedback and develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Wrap up the program with a batch analysis report and individual startup report cards.
  • Represent Plug and Play Seattle in the community, attending, hosting, and co-hosting events with regional startup organizations to generate a steady deal flow pipeline.
  • Setup events, mentor sessions, workshops, office hours, and deal flows to build up the program.
  • Book venues, brainstorm content, and outreach speakers for events.
  • Inform the network about upcoming events.
  • Assist and coordinate travel arrangements with key individuals.
  • Prepare event materials such as name tags, demo table signs, registration, and printouts.
  • Meet regularly with stakeholders to ensure easy communication and project management for the team.
  • Create and co-host community events to continue engagement and grow the local ecosystem.
  • Create and host events in all formats: virtually, hybrid, and in person.
  • Adhere to given event budgets.
  • Coordinate a monthly newsletter/social media updates with the marketing team.
  • Prepare flyers and communication tools with the marketing team for major events.
  • Act as the go-to source for all community efforts for the Plug and Play Seattle office, helping to build the brand and connect with Seattle’s technology ecosystem.
