About The Position

The Program Manager plays a key role in supporting the development, growth, and delivery of ENA’s core education portfolio, including TNCC, ENPC, CEN, and TNAC. This role manages multiple projects and program initiatives from planning through execution, coordinating timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. The Program Manager works closely with internal teams, leadership, vendors, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality educational programs and experiences, while using data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. This role also supports ongoing process improvement, program reporting, and operational planning to ensure programs are effectively delivered, aligned with organizational priorities, and provide value to ENA members and the broader nursing community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in program and/or project management or related roles.
  • 3-5 years’ experience leading cross functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partnerships.
  • Project management knowledge, skills and desire to manage details
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple and varied deliverables within established deadlines
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Coordinate resources, manage timelines, and adjust plans as needed to achieve project goals.
  • Analyze program data and metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve program outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, vendors, and subject matter experts (SMEs), to ensure program objectives are aligned and executed effectively.
  • Oversee the execution of key program activities such as webinars, events, and training sessions, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Work within the program budget to allocate resources effectively.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-efficiency while achieving program goals.
  • Manages program-specific budgets and resource plans; collaborates with finance and internal teams to track expenditures, support grant or funding compliance, and ensure efficient use of resources to deliver member value and mission-driven outcomes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, summarizing program progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Program Specialist and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth execution of program activities.
  • Contributes to the ENA workplace culture that is consistent with the association’s culture statement and emphasizes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
  • Displays a high level of accountability, taking responsibility for individual actions and the impact on the organization.
