About The Position

The Program Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Programs to oversee and manage projects, programs, and activities directly related to achieving the mission, vision, and objectives of the Foundation. This role will have responsibilities including but not limited to program development and delivery, curriculum design, fidelity evaluation and day-to-day program operations. The Program Manager serves as a cross-functional liaison, working with Engagement, Business Development, IT, HR, finance and Programs on a variety of projects and events. Due to the nature of the Foundation, this individual may work with everyone from government officials, clients, volunteers, community partners and management and must adhere to clear, correct and effective communication strategies with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Formerly incarcerated individuals strongly encouraged to apply
  • 3+ years of professional experience in business operations, adult education or non-profit program management
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, schedules and performance tracking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent facilitator, highly proficient in training, public speaking, with strong ability to engage diverse audiences, including currently and formerly incarcerated individuals
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills; proven ability to take initiative & ownership over complex programs and projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, volunteers, and departments of corrections.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, delegate, and efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed to client training sites, program centers, events and conferences
  • Comfortable interacting with currently and formerly incarcerated individuals
  • Ability to pay close and accurate attention to details.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of activities necessary to support Foundations core programs
  • Help ensure that grant funded programs are in compliance with grant terms and conditions; including supporting the development of quarterly/annual reports, closeouts, and researching and developing required policies and procedures
  • Assist in the development and delivery of Televerde Foundation Train-the-Trainer Program, including curriculum & assessment development, virtual and in person training delivery, and client implementation planning
  • Contribute to the development of new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization; identify, develop, and implement activities necessary to improve/expand the impact of the Foundation
  • Manage and support clients’ training, education and personal development needs, ensuring a tailored and effective approach.
  • Monitor and evaluate the engagement and results of programs, leveraging data to make informed suggestions for improvement.
  • Provide project management support for the implementation of new grants, programs and platforms.
  • Lead the implementation and management of program changes, ensuring project goals are achieved on time and in scope.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment with organizational activities.
