About The Position
As a Program Manager, you will lead a team that helps people build skills for work and everyday life. You’ll guide staff, support programs, and help individuals—including people with disabilities—move toward independence and success. This is more than a leadership role—it’s a chance to inspire others, solve problems, and create opportunities that change lives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services (or similar experience)
- At least 3 years of related experience
- Strong communication and people skills
- Confidence in making decisions and solving problems
- A positive attitude that motivates others
- Ability to handle private information with care
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
- Comfort using computers for daily work
Nice To Haves
- leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Employment Specialists, Lead Direct Support Trainers, and Direct Support Staff
- Coach and encourage team members so they can grow and succeed
- Oversee programs that help people learn job skills and life skills
- Review program progress and find better ways to serve people
- Hire, train, and develop team members
- Work with other departments to create more opportunities for participants
- Step in as a leader when needed, including occasional evenings or weekends
