About The Position

This role involves directing the preparation of strategic and client management plans, focusing on the development of the business line as a discipline. The Program Manager will support marketing initiatives by acting as the technical discipline leader into new markets, clients, and project opportunities. They will assist in developing and implementing project and client pursuit plans, and will develop and participate in presentations on project selections and within professional development organizations. The role also includes becoming active in professional societies promoting the business line, planning and managing all aspects of program projects, and independently coordinating the work of engineers, designers/draft persons, and sub-consultants throughout project execution. Establishing and maintaining client relations, assisting with marketing, contractual development, and design implementation are key responsibilities. The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating workload from initial plan development to completed project design, with some interface with construction management, ensuring projects are within budget and on schedule. They will also manage the financial aspects of assigned engineering projects, coordinating and adjusting work efforts to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion. The ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and clients is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of architecture, engineering, or construction management required.
  • 8+ years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect, or CCM preferred.
  • Market-specific Certifications preferred.
  • Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant working as part of a multi-design discipline team.
  • Familiarity with how projects go from beginning to completion.
  • A background in mentoring younger engineers or coordinating across disciplines.

Responsibilities
