About The Position

EDCare is a leading provider of comprehensive eating disorder treatment, offering a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to helping individuals achieve lasting recovery. Our Denver treatment programs provide multiple levels of care, including Residential, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services, within a supportive and highly specialized clinical environment. EDCare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Manager to join our Denver clinical leadership team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the structure, consistency, and therapeutic environment of our programs while providing leadership and support to both patients and clinical staff. Working closely with the Program Director and interdisciplinary treatment team, the Program Manager helps coordinate daily programming and staffing, supports the training and development of milieu staff, provides clinical coverage as needed, and serves as a key onsite leadership resource. This is an excellent opportunity for a behavioral health professional who enjoys combining clinical work with hands-on leadership and program operations. Requirements

Master’s degree in behavioral health field required.
Actively pursuing Colorado licensure required.
CPR certification within the first 90 days required.
Ability to take initiative and problem solve for a variety of clinical issues that may arise, as well as operational issues that may arise required.
Must be able to work the following schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7:30am – 6:00pm.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of six months experience working in a therapeutic milieu environment preferred.
Clinical conceptualization of the treatment of eating disorders and dual diagnosis preferred.
Treatment orientation that aligns with that of EDCare preferred.
Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide and maintain structure for Residential, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs.
Conducting groups, facilitating meals and meal processing documentation, and encouraging a therapeutic milieu.
Assisting Program Director in finding program tech/therapist coverage for groups and meals.
Provide individual therapy and POD groups when backup coverage is needed for Primary Clinicians.
Create effective relationships and be the liaison with other departments in creating and improving work processes.
Role models appropriate compliance to all program tech/therapist tasks and adherence to policy and procedures.
Establishes and maintains presence and a collaborative relationship with all program tech/therapists.
Supports clinical leadership in the implementation of and adherence to rules, policies, and procedures.
Takes ownership, in collaboration with program director, for training of new program tech/therapist staff and students.
Serve as onsite leadership on the weekends and act as point person for all facility issues/concerns, patient issues/concerns, and staff issues/concerns.
Navigate any call outs that occur and help to manage staffing issues/concerns.
Demonstrates knowledge of and practice of effective counseling skills.
Facilitates meals with patients in a fashion consistent with the treatment philosophy of EDCare; models appropriate eating behaviors during assigned mealtimes with patients.
Contributes clinical information and observations about patients in weekly staffing.
Demonstrates ability to build therapeutic rapport while maintain professional boundaries.
Facilitates groups with expertise, demonstrating ability to engage, set limits and monitor the group process.
Maintains and develops group curriculum for psychoeducational groups according to EDCare clinical standards.
Is creative in therapeutic interventions to maintain a safe, supportive, clinically sound programming.
Is present and available for patient requests and needs; provides outreach to patients when necessary.
Maintain daily program structure.
Conduct check-ins and check-outs with patients.
Facilitate therapeutic outings.
Timely completion and accuracy of clinical paperwork: progress notes, group notes, etc.
Ensure completion of daily attendance sheet for billing purposes.
Take responsibility for opening and/or closing the facility.
Maintain confidentiality of all patients.
Other job duties as assigned.
