About The Position

Symbotic is seeking a Program Manager to join its Cell Engineering team within the Products and Innovation organization. The role owns the planning, execution, and visibility of complex cell hardware programs, coordinating engineering deliverables, schedules, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional teams from development through release and deployment. The Program Manager provides dedicated ownership across concurrent hardware initiatives as the deployment portfolio grows. The role helps engineering teams stay focused on technical execution while keeping critical deliverables—including bills of materials, drawings, third-party designs, and release milestones—on track. The Cell Engineering team develops and releases hardware for Symbotic's automated systems and works across mechanical, electrical, systems, integration, supply chain, suppliers, and other engineering organizations. The Program Manager connects engineering execution with the schedules and commitments that support successful customer programs.

  • Experience managing hardware deliverables such as BOMs, drawings, design releases, engineering change processes, supplier deliverables, and related technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of product development, NPD/NPI processes, cross-functional engineering dependencies, risk management, change control, and program planning.
  • Experience using project and program management tools such as JIRA and Microsoft Project, and creating plans, dashboards, metrics, and leadership reporting.
