About The Position

The Program Manager manages administrative operations, including admissions, onboarding, communications, and activities for the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy’s Online Educational Initiatives. This includes the Master of Health Care Innovation (MHCI)—a high-touch, cohort-based online degree—and related graduate programs. They coordinate compliance with academic policies and timelines to support effective program delivery. Reporting to and working closely with the MHCI Associate Program Director, the Program Manager works in a sustainable, high-quality way to 1) manage admissions and onboarding processes and 2) support students’ academic success and program operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort with making and answering phone calls, email, and messages.
  • Deadline-oriented.
  • Creative problem-solving.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-step processes with software systems, volunteers, and committees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative operations for defined graduate programs, including admissions, onboarding, communications, and activities.
  • Coordinate student services, program logistics, and compliance with academic policies and timelines.
  • Manage admissions and onboarding processes for the MHCI and related programs.
  • Collect and track application materials across multiple application deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively, timely, and clearly with applicants, references, and the Admissions Committee.
  • Shepherd and troubleshoot processes through the admissions software.
  • Manage and support alumni interviewers.
  • Manage program communications, such as student and alumni newsletters, special announcements, and course info for partner programs.
  • Maintain internal (Canvas) and external (Drupal) websites.
  • Support co-curricular activities for students and alumni.
  • Support students as they enroll in the program, register for courses, and seek help with administrative issues regarding email accounts, billing, and more.
