The Program Manager provides high-level program and operational support to advance research initiatives, academic publications, and strategic partnerships led by Dr. Evelyn Patterson, Faculty Director of Georgetown University's Racial Justice Institute (RJI). RJI is an academic initiative focused on interdisciplinary scholarship and programming that connects work across institutional silos and amplifies racial justice research. The role balances operational execution, stakeholder and faculty coordination, event management, and research project tracking across RJI's interdisciplinary work, particularly at the intersection of the social sciences, law, and medicine. As RJI's primary administrative professional, the Program Manager also supports routine business processes in coordination with colleagues in finance, procurement, human resources, and the Office of the Provost. The position reports directly to Dr. Evelyn Patterson, Professor at the McCourt School of Public Policy and Faculty Director of RJI. The Program Manager is a key contact for campus colleagues and external partners, facilitating RJI's research ambitions. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, cross-departmental collaboration, independent decision-making, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple workflows.
