About The Position

Based in Wilmington, DE, the Program Manager will be working within a global team of R&D scientists and Applications Engineers and in coordination with Business Unit leaders, Sales and Development partners, in the MicroMax business within the MacDermid Alpha Electronic Solutions (MAES) division of Element Solutions Inc (ESI). The Program Manager leads multiple interrelated projects and workstreams, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and successful delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives. This role is accountable for program-level performance, including execution, stakeholder alignment, and value realization, and operates with a high degree of autonomy.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
Typically 10–15+ years of relevant experience
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs
Advanced stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience in risk management, resource planning, and governance
Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving ability
Ability to influence and lead in a matrix environment
Understand customer-needs, commitment to quality service and continuous improvement.
Be capable of basic/complex problem solving processes, systematic thinking and innovation processes.
An assertive and resilient team player able to operate within a high performance, cross-cultural team.
Confident and purposeful approach, paired with strong communication skills and social skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple projects within a defined program structure
Ensure delivery of program objectives within scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets
Identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies across projects
Establish and maintain program plans, governance, and reporting structures
Translate business strategy into actionable program plans and priorities
Ensure all program initiatives align with enterprise and functional objectives
Evaluate program performance against defined business cases and success metrics
Support prioritization and resource allocation decisions
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
Facilitate alignment across teams and resolve conflicts effectively
Communicate program status, risks, and key decisions to senior leadership
Influence without authority across a matrixed organization
Establish and track KPIs, metrics, and program performance indicators
Ensure consistency and rigor in project execution across the program
Drive accountability for results across teams and stakeholders
Balance execution priorities with long-term strategic outcomes
Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and frameworks
