About The Position

Program Managers at SharkNinja are responsible for overseeing the entire New Product Development (NPD) process from concept to market launch for the Shark and Ninja Brands. They are expected to deliver best-in-class product development strategies, governance, and processes to ensure flawless execution of the program portfolio. In a capacity similar to a general manager, Program Managers work cross-functionally, gaining global exposure and visibility. They lead through influence, driving timelines and resources to efficiently develop, manufacture, and bring products to market, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and strong sales performance. A SharkNinja Program Manager approaches their projects with a global leadership mindset, focusing on Scope, Cost, and Schedule. They act as the central point of communication, connecting all teams to mitigate risks and ensure timely completion of deliverables. They operate with a sense of urgency, promptly escalating scope creep, cost risks, and schedule delays to senior management while actively working towards resolutions. These individual contributors guide the organization through SharkNinja's unique product development process and are well-suited for dynamic, fast-paced product development environments where they have demonstrated success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical/engineering or business management field highly desired
  • 3-4+ years direct Program management experience
  • Experience desired in some combination of new product development or program management (Consumer Goods Industry strongly preferred)
  • Assertive, confident, capable
  • Able to cultivate and lead a high performing team that delivers results
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills. Experienced addressing C-Suite, Peer Functional Groups, Suppliers, and Customer audiences
  • Cross-functional leadership skills
  • Possess a strong bias to action and accountability
  • Intermediate/working level skills with MS Project (or similar), Excel, PPT and Visio
  • High energy, with a positive attitude
  • Detail oriented
  • Presentation skills – Must be proficient with PowerPoint and be comfortable developing and presenting to large groups including executive management either in person or over MS Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drives and actively facilitates the interaction of cross-functional stakeholders to bring products to market, including managing risks, and schedule
  • Collaborates with teams to ensure that the go to market strategy will provide high rate of sales
  • Accountable to deliver all elements of the program, from product ideation to end-of-life
  • Makes use of KPI’s and data to help drive decision making across the cross-functional teams
  • Identifies program risks, develops mitigation/contingency and tracks progress
  • Spots resource and knowledge gaps and takes steps necessary to highlight/remedy
  • Channels global information to local teams, acts as conduit to support the business
