About The Position

Unison Health is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Program Manager to lead daily operations at our Children's Wellness Campus, a residential behavioral health program serving youth ages 6–17. The Program Manager will provide leadership, supervision, and support to a multidisciplinary team while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. This role is responsible for overseeing program operations, maintaining compliance with regulatory and agency standards, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring youth receive individualized services that promote emotional wellness, stability, and long-term success. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for supporting children and adolescents facing behavioral health challenges and a commitment to creating meaningful outcomes for youth and their families.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field required
Minimum three (3) years of experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral health needs required
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to supervise, mentor, and support multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, child and adolescent development, and best practices in residential behavioral health treatment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with families, clinical staff, community partners, and external stakeholders to support positive outcomes for youth.
Proficiency with electronic health record systems, documentation standards, and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to maintain compliance with agency policies, accreditation standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Flexible, solution-focused, and adaptable with a commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for youth and staff.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities as needed to support program operations.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree preferred
residential treatment or behavioral health program experience strongly preferred
Clinical licensure preferred, including RN, LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, or other related behavioral health credentials.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and oversight for all day-to-day operations of the Children's Wellness Campus, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment for youth receiving residential behavioral health services.
Supervise, mentor, and support multidisciplinary staff, including direct care, clinical, and support team members, through coaching, performance management, scheduling, and ongoing professional development.
Ensure compliance with agency, state, and accreditation standards by maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring program performance, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and supporting audit readiness.
Collaborate with clinical leadership, families, schools, and community partners to coordinate individualized treatment services that promote positive behavioral, emotional, and social outcomes for youth.
Champion a trauma-informed and youth-centered culture by fostering engagement, supporting crisis intervention efforts, promoting best practices in behavioral health care, and ensuring the highest quality of services for children and adolescents.
