About The Position

Flex is seeking a Program Manager to join their team in Coopersville, MI. This role reports to the Manager of Program Management. The Program Manager will lead a team of cross-functional experts in delivering customer-focused products and services. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of project, pricing, and program strategies to deliver value to the business and its customers.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years’ manufacturing industry experience in program administration/management or related area.
  • Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
  • Accountability for the program wellness.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive manufacturing experience ideal.
  • Experience from other highly regulated manufacturers is also desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, plan, and direct program schedules and budgets.
  • Track relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.
  • Provide assistance, knowledge, and expertise with contract negotiations as required.
  • Oversee all interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of all adherences related to product development timelines, delivery, quality, and required business metrics.
  • Review program proposals or plans to determine timeframe, funding requirements, procedures for accomplishing the program, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the program.
  • Establish work plans and staffing for each phase of the program and arrange for recruitment or assignment of personnel.
  • Manage the coordination of product life cycle activities with P&L and customer satisfaction, also controlling different accounts of various complexities.
  • Serve as the key channel of communication for customers and act as an escalation point in the event of customer issues.
  • Oversee customer satisfaction reviews and corrective actions.
  • Maintain current and develop additional business with customers.
  • Monitor and track that project and program deliverables are met.
  • Be accountable for maintaining excellent customer relations with both new and existing customers.
  • Support production sites for projects, costs, and other customer-related matters through business and expertise.
