About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Program Manager - Manufacturing. This role can be located at our Waukesha, WI or Jonesville, SC sites. The role will require up to 50% travel. Relocation assistance will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Eaton’s Energy Solution and Services (ESS) group is seeking a bold Program Management leader to drive the next wave of transformation shaping our manufacturing footprint and operational capabilities. The preferred location for this role is at the Waukesha, WI HQ or at the Jonesville, SC manufacturing site. The team will also consider leaders to be based in other major Eaton U.S. hubs. Anticipated travel is up to 50% dependent on work location. ESS is powering the transformation of the global energy ecosystem. The Program Manager sits at the center of this transformation. You will lead complex, capital-intensive programs spanning footprint rationalization, capacity expansion, manufacturing process advancement, and facility upgrades—owning delivery and ensuring disciplined execution of scope, schedule, and investment to enable enterprise-scale growth. Your initial priority will be leading our power systems division footprint transformation in Jonesville, SC. You will own end-to-end program management for this expansion site, driving scope, schedule, investment, and execution in close partnership with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, supply chain, and commercial functions to deliver a high-performing manufacturing operation. This role will oversee the ramp-up and integration of production for critical power distribution and protection products (for example, switchgear, circuit protection, and related assemblies), ensuring the site meets growth, quality, and customer delivery requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of Program Management experience within a manufacturing environment, or a combination of Program Management and progressively increasing responsibility in Manufacturing, Operations, Continuous Improvement, and/or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing people

  • Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates whose primary residence is more than 50 miles from either the Waukesha, WI division HQ or the Jonesville, SC manufacturing site, and is strictly limited to relocation to one of these designated work locations. Depending on the assigned location, travel requirements may be up to 50%.

  • Demonstrates strong proficiency in program and project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, with a focus on effective execution and governance.

  • Extensive experience leading large-scale facility transformation and capital expenditure (CapEx) initiatives from concept through completion.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of delivering clear, concise status reporting and executive-level presentations.
  • Solid technical knowledge of manufacturing processes.

  • Deliver results against scope, schedule, budget, and performance commitments with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Build and lead integrated program plans, aligning teams, milestones, resources, and priorities.
  • Establish clear governance and drive disciplined execution, accelerating decisions and maintaining momentum.
  • Mobilize cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, EHS) to translate strategy into action.
  • Navigate trade-offs, remove barriers, and build alignment to deliver shared outcomes.
  • Lead capital project implementation across equipment, facilities, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure new capacity is operationally ready, enabling smooth startup and rapid, sustainable ramp-up.
  • Anticipate risks and dependencies, guiding teams to resolve challenges with data-driven solutions.
  • Communicate clearly with senior leadership, influencing decisions while building trust and alignment across stakeholders.
