About The Position

The Program Manager position at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is responsible for managing the Digestive Diseases Research Center (DDRC) and providing executive assistant support for Dr. Richard Peek, the Division Director. This role involves planning, developing, and executing ongoing programs that significantly impact the organization. The DDRC aims to promote digestive disease research, train young investigators, enhance research capabilities, facilitate the transfer of discoveries to clinical care, and attract new investigators to the field. The Program Manager plays a crucial role in managing grant-related administrative tasks, overseeing faculty recruitment, interview processes, appointments, reappointments, FMLA processes, and new faculty orientation.

Requirements

  • Relevant Work Experience: 3 years
