About The Position

In this Program Manager role, the focus will be on workforce planning and utilization strategy for a field-based business. This position is designed for someone stepping out of a senior analyst or junior program role into a more impactful position, with a clear path toward people leadership.

Requirements

Experience in workforce planning and utilization strategy.
Experience managing the implementation of large and complex programs.
Experience providing leadership and support to project teams.
Experience acting as a front-line contact on program related activities, issues, and risks.
Experience managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurements.
Experience interfacing with Business Unit Leaders and finance to develop ROI and other financial measures.
Experience partnering with purchasing to develop POs and managing suppliers and vendor relationships.
Experience managing stakeholders' communication.
Experience defining program governance (controls).
Experience planning the overall program and monitoring progress.
Experience performing daily program management throughout the program life cycle.
Experience managing program budgets and financial performance.
Experience coordinating projects and their interdependencies.
Experience managing and utilizing resources across projects.
Understanding of the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and physical and digital security practices.

Responsibilities

Managing the implementation of large and complex programs.
Provides overall leadership and support to one or more project teams.
Acts as front-line contact on program related activities, issues, and risks.
Manages risks and issues and takes corrective measurements.

Coordinates the projects and their interdependencies.
Manages and utilizes resources across projects.
May manage the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives and goals, providing feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
Performs other duties as directed.
