Program Manager, Supply Chain Analytics

IREN•San Francisco, CA
•$190,000 - $240,000•Hybrid

About The Position

IREN is seeking a Program Manager, Supply Chain Analytics to support modernization of its global supply chain systems and tools. The position turns data into actionable decisions through forecasts, supplier-risk signals, should-cost models, Clear to Build dashboards, and AI-assisted workflows. It supports cross-functional implementations and develops analytical, modeling, and AI solutions for supply chain work. The role partners with procurement, planning, finance, capital projects, the Supply Chain Data Engineer, and the Risk Manager. It creates recurring analytics outputs, develops and validates forecasting and optimization models, and prototypes LLM and agentic tools for supply chain workflows. Solutions should be repeatable, governed, evaluated, and consistent with IREN's AI and data-security policies. The position is listed as hybrid in San Francisco, although IREN does not yet have a Bay Area office. It will initially work remotely and transition to hybrid on-site work once the planned Santa Clara office opens. Reliable commuting on scheduled in-office days and domestic and international travel are required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, engineering, economics, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in analytics, data science, or applied AI, including at least 2 years working on supply chain, procurement, operations, or finance problems.
  • Program management experience supporting implementations of tools, processes, or solutions across multiple teams and functions.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, tools, and stakeholder interactions, and experience working with ERP/MRP, CLM, PLM, or QMS tools.
  • Hands-on experience applying LLMs to business workflows, including prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation over internal documents, output evaluation, and building small tools or agents using current APIs and frameworks.
  • Proficiency with a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, and experience designing trusted metrics.
  • Working knowledge of source-to-contract, procure-to-pay, planning, inventory, and logistics processes and their associated decisions.
  • Experience with procurement and supplier-risk platforms such as Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua, Craft, Interos, or Resilinc, or with supply-market intelligence sources.
  • Demonstrated experience building and validating forecasting or predictive models used in real decisions and explaining their limitations to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to reliably commute to the assigned office location on scheduled in-office days under the hybrid arrangement.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to supplier and vendor sites, data centers, implementation partner locations, and industry events.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in data center, AI infrastructure, energy, construction, or other capital-project-heavy industries with long-lead equipment such as GPUs, networking equipment, transformers, switchgear, or generators.

Responsibilities

  • Program manage requirements across stakeholders for cross-functional implementations of analytics, dashboards, and AI-based tools.
  • Create and execute recurring supply chain analytics, including spend analysis, supplier performance scorecards, lead-time and on-time-delivery tracking, inventory health, and transformation KPIs, using governed datasets maintained by the Data Engineer.
  • Translate business questions from procurement, planning, finance, and capital projects into analytical problems and deliver answers with clear recommendations.
  • Build and validate demand, lead-time, and delivery-date forecasting models for long-lead equipment, as well as should-cost and price-trend models for key categories.
  • Partner with the Risk Manager to develop an AI-based supplier-risk and delivery-risk tool or dashboard.
  • Prototype optimization and scenario models for inventory policy, allocation across sites, and sourcing mix, and hand production-ready logic to the Data Engineer for deployment.
  • Identify and deliver LLM and agentic use cases, including contract, quote, and datasheet extraction; RFx response summarization and comparison; supplier research and discovery; supplier communication drafting; and PO, invoice, and shipment exception triage.
  • Build repeatable AI tools using prompts, retrieval over internal documents, evaluation sets, and human-in-the-loop checks in accordance with IREN's AI and data-security policies.
  • Partner with the Supply Chain Data Engineer on data requirements, definitions, and quality issues surfaced through analysis, raising issues early and specifically.
