About The Position

The Program Manager Provider Onboarding & Retention is responsible for the design, execution, and continuous improvement of onboarding and retention programs for physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This role ensures a seamless transition from hire to practice integration while developing strategies that enhance provider engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention. The Program Manager partners closely with recruitment, credentialing, operations, medical staff leadership, and human resources to deliver a consistent, high-quality provider experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, provider onboarding, provider relations, HR, or program management.
  • Experience in physician or APP onboarding, retention, or medical staff operations.
  • Familiarity with credentialing, licensing, and medical staff processes.
  • Experience working in a matrixed healthcare organization.
  • Effective communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters Degree or equivalent business degree with clinical experience preferred.
