And we have a lot of fun together. This role owns end-to-end delivery of complex technology implementations for public-sector clients. You own the program plan, schedule, governance, deliverables, and testing from kickoff through go-live and into steady-state operations. The work spans internal teams, client stakeholders, and partner organizations, so cross-party alignment, schedule discipline, and early escalation are core to success.

Requirements

7+ years of program or project management, including multi-year public-sector implementations with formal milestone approvals and change control.
Experience delivering payments or financial technology programs, such as payment processing, transactions, payment data, settlement, and reconciliation.
Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams or vendors, including integration and acceptance testing.
Proficiency with scheduling and work-tracking tools.
Working knowledge of data security and privacy requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, PII).
Clear writing at a formal deliverable standard and comfort presenting to executive stakeholders.
Able to pass a comprehensive background check including comprehensive identity verification, criminal history check, and counter-terrorism screening.

Nice To Haves

PMP or PgMP certification.
Experience delivering under state or local government contracts.
Familiarity with payment industry rules (e.g., NACHA, card networks).

Responsibilities

Program planning: Author the program management plan and secure client approval. It covers scope, staffing, controls, escalation, change management, risk, quality, readiness, and invoicing.
Master scheduling: Baseline and maintain the integrated schedule and critical path. Keep it aligned with dependent teams and partners, and manage changes through formal approval.
Reporting and governance: Produce recurring status reports and run the client governance cadence, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
Deliverables: Drive approval of required program plans (e.g., security, continuity, testing, data migration, transition), plus SOPs and training materials.
Testing: Lead the test and acceptance lifecycle from integration through user acceptance and formal sign-off. Own defect tracking and issue resolution.
Release and change control: Maintain release, change, and maintenance processes, including client communication for planned work.
Performance and incidents: Deliver service-level reporting, lead root cause analysis for significant incidents, and track corrective actions to closure.
Client cadence and growth: Support business reviews and issue management, and scope new client-requested work.
