Program Manager, Operations

NetflixLos Angeles, CA
$290,000 - $460,000

About The Position

Netflix's Content & Business Products (CBP) department builds and buys technology that helps create, plan, produce, promote, and distribute the content our subscribers enjoy on the Netflix streaming service. We partner with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge solutions that are revolutionizing the entertainment industry. The Product Directors & Managers in CBP need to (1) plan, prioritize, and execute across multiple product domains; (2) align with multiple sets of business stakeholders; and (3) connect their work to the broader product organization. To support these three altitudes of work, the CBP Operations team provides tactical support to relieve operational overhead. CBP Programs & Ops strives for consistency via comprehensive support to our product domain leaders and product managers. Our mission is to enhance operational efficiency by centralizing and managing essential resources, fostering effective communication, and exploring innovative technology solutions. To achieve our mission we develop operating models tailored to the product domains we support, helping to provide them with tools and insights needed for our dynamic environment – this foundational work helps us build towards a cohesive operating model for the CBP department. Each Program Manager of Operations is responsible for establishing a structured framework and applying operational rigor to each product domain/subdomain they’re assigned to. As a highly organized and execution-driven contributor, you will partner with cross-functional leaders (from Product, Design, Engineering/TPMs, Data Science & Engineering, etc.) to implement & improve annual planning, quarterly planning, OKR & project tracking, communication, and collaboration. When needed you will serve as an end-to-end Program Manager for high-priority initiatives that require dedicated support. This job description outlines the initial focus areas for the role, but given the dynamic nature of Netflix and our work, the full scope of the role may evolve as needs from CBP leadership change. As operating models become more established in domains/subdomains, CBP Operations maintains structures that work well within each domain and takes on tactical support for large strategic initiatives.
