About The Position

JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a talented Program Manager/ Onsite Lead (Mechanic) to work in a unique and dynamic environment. This role is located at Tyndall AFB, FL, with a job start date of April 1, 2027. The hours of operation are 07:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with the possibility of working outside normal hours. The Program Manager/ Onsite Lead manages the daily shop operations, oversees maintenance and repair work on heavy equipment, and leads a team of technicians.

Requirements

Journey-level mechanical experience working on heavy trucks or construction equipment.
Strong leadership, advanced troubleshooting, and knowledge of computerized diagnostic tools.
High school diploma, valid driver’s license (CDL often preferred), and relevant ASE certifications.
Must have Microsoft Products abilities and skills.
Must not be afraid to get their hands dirty.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have experience in wiring, electronics, automotive mechanical repairs, welding, and machine shop fundamentals.
Must be able to speak fluent English.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must obtain a favorable trustworthiness determination.
Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
Must be Flexible.

Responsibilities

Direct, mentor, and schedule on-site mechanics and support staff.
Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Manage parts inventory, coordinate with site managers, and ensure safety compliance.
