About The Position
Kirk NationaLease is a privately owned fleet solutions company specializing in truck, trailer, and bus repair. We are hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics for an onsite position in Ridgeland, SC. This role involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance and light to moderate diesel repairs, diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, and conducting DOT inspections to ensure safety compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years diesel mechanic experience required
- Experience with diagnostic equipment
- Personal tools required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years trailer repair preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and light–moderate diesel repairs
- Diagnose and repair brakes, clutches, wheel seals, and other systems
- Conduct DOT inspections and ensure safety compliance
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
