About The Position
Kirk NationaLease, a privately owned fleet solutions company specializing in truck, trailer, and bus repair, is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics for an onsite position in Ridgeland, SC. This role involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance, light to moderate diesel repairs, diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, conducting DOT inspections, and ensuring safety compliance. The position is on a customer lot with a day shift schedule, totaling 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- 5+ years diesel mechanic experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with diagnostic equipment
- Personal tools required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years trailer repair preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and light–moderate diesel repairs
- Diagnose and repair brakes, clutches, wheel seals, and other systems
- Conduct DOT inspections and ensure safety compliance
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
