About The Position

Viz.ai is seeking an Oncology Program Manager to support the execution of its oncology care pathways and manage the operational system that enables their scalability. This role involves working with care pathway leads to onboard new sites, train clinicians, build relationships within the oncology and urology community, and act as a clinical liaison for Sales and Customer Success. The program manager will establish a centralized system for tracking site status, milestones, and dependencies, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication across various departments including Product, Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Finance. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of clinical credibility, program management discipline, and experience in a fast-paced, AI-driven health tech environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in oncology or urology (clinical operations, care pathways, clinical program management, field medical, implementation, or customer-facing clinical roles) with fluency in cancer care delivery.
  • Direct experience in community urology or community oncology settings, understanding decision-making, purchasing, and technology adoption.
  • Demonstrated multi-site, multi-stakeholder program or project management with hard deadlines.
  • Experience at an AI-native or high-growth health technology company, comfortable with pace, ambiguity, and frequent replanning.
  • Track record of successfully getting clinical sites live and bridging the gap between technical readiness and clinician adoption.
  • Strong clinical fluency and credibility with oncologists and urologists.
  • Excellent written communication skills and a proactive approach to surfacing risk with solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a role with broad scope and limited established process, with a drive to build processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting life sciences–sponsored clinical programs, including IRB, research contracting, and sponsor milestone reporting.
  • Familiarity with oncology and urology EHR and workflow systems (e.g., Epic Beacon, iKnowMed, OncoEMR, Athena).
  • Clinical licensure (RN, APP/PA/NP, pharmacist) or formal clinical training.
  • Working knowledge of NCCN guidelines and their propagation into clinical decision support.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Monday.com, or comparable tooling for program and pipeline tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Enable and coordinate oncology care pathway delivery from contract execution through technical go-live, clinical activation, and sustained use.
  • Develop processes for managing site-side work, including IT and EHR dependencies, IRB and research contracting, configuration, data validation, and clinical champion sign-off.
  • Collaborate with clinical sales, demand generation, and marketing to build per-site activation plans and manage the pipeline.
  • Partner with Finance and life sciences teams on the milestone implications of go-live timing.
  • Design and deliver onboarding and training for oncologists, urologists, APPs, navigators, and pharmacists.
  • Build reusable training assets such as quick-start guides, role-based walkthroughs, and refresher sessions.
  • Monitor early usage after go-live and intervene to prevent disengagement, providing feedback to Product and Clinical AI.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clinical champions, service line leaders, and administrators.
  • Serve as a site's point of contact through activation and early adoption, knowing when to escalate issues.
  • Represent Viz at oncology and urology society meetings.
  • Support Sales and Customer Success in customer conversations, demos, and objection handling.
  • Contribute clinical input into product direction based on workflow realities, guideline changes, and clinician perspectives.
  • Establish and maintain a single source of truth for oncology site status, milestones, owners, blockers, and dates.
  • Establish clean interfaces, handoffs, and escalation paths across Clinical, Product, Engineering, Implementation, Sales, CS, Contracting, and Finance.
  • Organize communication channels for technical, product, and site-level issues.
  • Develop reporting in collaboration with platform and value demonstration teams.
