The Program Manager of the Workers’ Center provides strategic leadership and day-to-day management of Mission Action’s two worker collectives: the Day Labor Program (DLP) and the Women’s Collective (WC). Located on Cesar Chavez Street, the Workers’ Center serves low-income immigrant day laborers and domestic workers, many of whom face housing insecurity, homelessness, and health challenges; by providing a safe space to negotiate fair wages and access support services. The Program integrates organizing, leadership development, and member-centered services within a social change framework, building collective power to address the root causes of economic and social injustice. This position is a key member of Mission Action’s senior leadership team and reports to the Director of Community Engagement & Organizing Programs.
