About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead engineering and development efforts for the Military Services Business. This role focuses on flight product obsolescence redesign initiatives, test equipment and Test Program Set (TPS) development, and follow-on production activities. The Program Manager will oversee complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and program objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Engineering within the aerospace/defense industry OR Bachelor’s degree in Business from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Engineering within the aerospace/defense industry.
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship status.
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Lead program execution for test equipment development and upgrades, product redesign efforts due to obsolescence, and follow-on production initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business goals.
  • Engineering Oversight: Manage avionics engineering redesign efforts, including scope definition, resource planning, and delivery of solutions.
  • Schedule and Performance Management: Identify gaps to Integrated Master Schedule targets and partner with internal stakeholders to drive improvements using business and analytic expertise.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of program deliverables.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with military customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions. Serve as the primary interface between the customer and internal business teams, managing the transfer of information and requests.
  • Program Planning: Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful delivery of milestones.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure program success while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report program performance using key metrics aligned with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and implement lean methodologies to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordination: Organize technical meetings, leadership reviews, and customer visits as required.
