About The Position

The Program Manager (“Program Manager”) is an integral member of Community Reach Center’s Resource and Walk-in Crisis Center. The WCRC is a 24/7 essential Program within the organization. The Program Manager under limited supervision, organizes, administers, and oversees the operation of a resource center and walk-in crisis location using evidence based/evidence-informed approaches to assist individuals with behavioral health needs. The Program Manager has administrative oversight of the team including financial, resource, and facilities management. Additionally, the Program Manager will have other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by the Director of Clinical Services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a master’s degree in counseling or directly related field
  • Minimum of two years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Professional counseling licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
  • Experience providing crisis intervention and intensive therapeutic services.
  • Experience with a 72-hour (M-1) hold and the associated criteria.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record to be maintained while employed with Community Reach Center

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, coordinate, and provide professional leadership in the provision of clinical crisis response services provided by the program(s), in accordance with program objectives, clinical guidelines, procedures and standards, and company goals.
  • Provide oversight to care navigators for resource allocations, service screeners, and crisis interventions.
  • Consult on and perform mental health evaluations (M1) as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency standards are met with regards to medical record standards and care navigation services for consumers. Advocate for appropriate services for consumers.
  • Identify, implement and monitor customer service standards to ensure the team meets internal and external customer needs, in a professional manner.
  • Develop long and short-term goals for the team that are consistent with program and organizational goals.
  • Train and evaluate staff to maintain quality within the team, encourage growth and development while instilling awareness of cultural diversity.
  • Participate in the selection process for internal and external candidates for program staff.
  • Conduct timely audits to ensure compliance with Community Reach Center goals, policies, State and other regulatory policies regarding clinical care and documentation.
  • Provide direct consumer consultation and care utilizing evidence-based practice models; develop, evaluate and modify programs as required.
  • Complete performance evaluations and provide appropriate coaching and counseling to ensure all employees perform at satisfactory levels and identify when discipline is appropriate.
  • Provide oversight to ensure compliance with the standards of care provided by all licensing, accrediting, and oversight agencies.
  • Identify, implement and monitor customer service standards to ensure the team is meeting internal and external customer needs, in a professional manner that recognizes the human potential for growth and change.
  • Provide oversight to assigned staff with regards to clinical outcomes and productivity standards. Take corrective action as needed to ensure compliance.
  • Attend all management meetings and serve on appropriate work group/committees to further the goals of Community Reach Center.
  • Serve as a representative/role model of the programs as well as Community Reach Center with program consultants, consumers, families and the community as required. Project a positive image to other agencies and the general public.
  • Participate in an utilize opportunities that provide professional growth through attendance at center in-services and other conferences, and by conducting consultation and education functions as indicated.
  • Promotes cooperative working relationships and a positive team atmosphere.
  • Interface with local and state policy makers, community leaders and providers in the treatment focus area to assess needs and develop and implement programming as determined to be necessary.
  • Provide care to consumers in a manner that recognizes the human potential, is empathic and demonstrates unconditional positive regard while promoting safety, comfort, and the therapeutic environment.
