About The Position

The University of San Francisco's Masagung Graduate School of Management is seeking a Program Manager for In-Person Specialized Master’s Degrees. This role, under the supervision of the Director of Graduate Admissions and in collaboration with the Office of Graduate Student Success and Engagement (OGSSE), is responsible for managing the recruitment and supporting the academic operations for all in-person specialized masters degrees, including the MSIS, MSMI, and MIM programs. The position involves record-keeping and enhancing students’ extracurricular and co-curricular experiences in conjunction with the academic program director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of related work experience, ideally in higher education or program management.
  • Proficient in the use of Slate and Element 451 required.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI tools or the ability to quickly learn and stay current on emerging AI technologies related to recruitment and admissions processes.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and website maintenance.
  • Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy while managing multiple priorities.

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Some domestic travel required for student recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Office of Graduate Admissions team and the academic program directors to coordinate operational activities for all in-person specialized master’s programs.
  • Coordinate prospect and applicant data and communication plans in application management system (Slate), and support timely communication and successful application completion.
  • Develop and update inquiries, reports, and dashboards to track applicant flow, enrollment trends, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Support day-to-day operations of recruitment and outreach efforts in coordination with academic program directors, including yield activities and onboarding of newly admitted students.
  • Prepare and deliver reports related to applications, class profiles, and admissions progress.
  • Represent the in-person specialized master’s programs at recruitment fairs, information sessions, and yield events as needed.
  • Facilitate a smooth transition from admitted to enrolled student, including orientation programming and engagement activities, supporting the work of OGSSE and academic program directors.
  • Utilize Element 451’s AI tools, such as chatbots and automated workflows, to enhance prospective student engagement and responsiveness.
  • Coordinate and execute recruitment events, manage registrations, track attendance, and post-event communications through Slate.
  • Coordinate non-academic operations for the MSIS, MSMI and MIM programs, ensuring a high-level of customized service to students and faculty.
  • Collaborate with the faculty program directors and faculty, managing program logistics and supporting the student experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and files for in-person specialized master’s programs, curriculum development, course content, and co-curricular activities.
  • Monitor and prepare updates for in-person specialized master’s programs web pages, ensuring accuracy and relevance across programs.
  • Plan the execution of in-person specialized master’s programs events, such as new student orientation and networking events.
  • Support faculty teaching in the in-person specialized master’s programs to ensure effective course execution and alignment with student needs.
  • Support academic registration and advising while working with the academic program directors and the Office of Graduate Student Success and Engagement.
  • May supervise OPE staff and/or student workers.

Benefits

  • Salary Range : $80,000 - $87,500; Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
