About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced program management professionals with strong expertise in implementation planning, cross-functional coordination, program execution, stakeholder management, and delivery oversight. This role focuses on reviewing professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials related to program management and implementation planning. Selected experts will assess outputs for operational accuracy, planning rigour, execution feasibility, analytical quality, presentation effectiveness, and overall professional credibility.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in program management, project management, implementation management, program delivery, or a closely related field
  • Experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Implementation Manager, Program Lead, Project Lead , or similar professional
  • Strong practical understanding of program management and implementation planning
  • Experience developing or reviewing program plans, implementation roadmaps, project plans, status reports, or executive presentations
  • Strong understanding of milestones, dependencies, risks, stakeholder coordination, and delivery governance
  • Ability to evaluate implementation recommendations for feasibility, sequencing, and operational soundness
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google Slides
  • Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills
  • Native or professional fluency in English
  • Excellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback
  • Strong attention to program, operational, analytical, and presentation detail

Responsibilities

  • Program Management: Evaluate program plans, delivery frameworks, and management work products for accuracy and practical soundness. Assess whether objectives, milestones, dependencies, and responsibilities are clearly defined. Identify gaps in program structure, ownership, coordination, or execution. Review approaches to managing complex, multi-workstream initiatives. Apply professional judgement grounded in real-world program management experience.
  • Implementation Planning: Review implementation plans, rollout strategies, and execution roadmaps. Assess whether proposed timelines, activities, resources, and dependencies are realistic. Evaluate sequencing and readiness across implementation phases. Identify missing prerequisites, unrealistic assumptions, and execution risks. Review whether implementation approaches appropriately support stated objectives.
  • Project & Workstream Coordination: Evaluate plans involving multiple projects, teams, or functional workstreams. Review handoffs, dependencies, milestones, and decision points. Assess whether responsibilities and ownership are appropriately assigned. Identify coordination gaps or conflicting priorities. Evaluate approaches to maintaining alignment across interconnected activities.
  • Risk, Issue & Dependency Management: Review program risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies. Assess whether material risks are identified and appropriately prioritised. Evaluate mitigation, escalation, and contingency approaches. Identify overlooked dependencies or weak mitigation plans. Review whether risk-management recommendations are practical and proportionate.
  • Stakeholder Management: Evaluate stakeholder plans, governance structures, and communication approaches. Assess whether stakeholder roles, expectations, and decision rights are clearly defined. Review escalation and reporting processes. Identify gaps in alignment, accountability, or communication. Evaluate whether proposed stakeholder-management approaches support successful implementation.
  • Program Tracking & Performance: Review spreadsheets and analyses used to track program status, milestones, resources, and performance. Assess whether metrics and reporting accurately reflect delivery progress. Identify inconsistencies between underlying data and reported program status. Evaluate whether tracking mechanisms support effective decision-making. Review plans for monitoring progress and addressing delivery variance.
  • Documents & Presentation Review: Evaluate program plans, implementation documents, spreadsheets, reports, and slide decks for accuracy and completeness. Review presentations for logical flow, clarity, and decision usefulness. Identify factual, analytical, aesthetic, and formatting issues. Assess whether timelines, charts, tables, and visuals accurately represent underlying program information. Ensure recommendations and status conclusions are clearly supported by available evidence.
  • Structured Evaluation & Feedback: Assess assigned outputs against domain-specific quality criteria. Identify program, implementation, operational, analytical, and presentation weaknesses. Distinguish substantive delivery issues from minor editorial concerns. Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified strengths and weaknesses. Apply evaluation standards consistently across different program-management work products.
