About The Position

The Program Manager II is responsible for the day-to-day operations and direction of one or more programs. The role oversees and coordinates activities and resources for designated programs and projects that may affect operations, systems, other programs or departments, and patients and their families. The Program Manager understands program strategic goals and ensures objectives are accomplished within established parameters. The role ensures program activities are well planned, organized, and compliant with regulatory guidelines, and participates in developing and implementing department goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
• Two years of recent relevant experience.
• Ability to build effective working partnerships with employees, peers, and leaders to achieve program objectives.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, particularly writing.
• Motivated, resourceful self-starter able to anticipate needs, meet deadlines, and solve problems creatively, independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to interact with various types of visitors with poise and self-confidence.
• Desire and ability to work independently and autonomously.
