As a Program Manager II within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. We are seeking a skilled Program Manager II to support C&IB’s Technology Execution function within the President’s CIO group Business Management function, which has a strong focus on strategic program oversight, reporting, and CIO leadership support. This role involves close partnership with senior technology and business leadership—including CIO-level stakeholders—to provide appropriate visibility and support of technology programs to ensure they are executed on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational priorities and target business benefits. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, excels at presenting complex information clearly, and brings a strong grasp of program management fundamentals including the relationship of scope, resources, budget, and schedule. Leads a cross functional program/project team to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. Leads complex programs/projects requiring planning, oversight, and communication across multiple segments, channels, or lines of business. Typically, program size may reach or exceed $25m. Manages the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; influences project decisions to achieve overall program goals. Oversight and reporting for the program budget while working to ensure success of the program. Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results. Requirements

  • Program/Project management experience in technology, operations, or enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical abilities with comfort working with numbers, calculations, and data-driven reporting.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage scope, resources, budgets, schedules, and multi-team coordination.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Ways of Working (Scrum, Kanban, & SAFe)
  • Experience supporting CIO or senior technology and business leadership.
  • Proficiency with program management tools, reporting dashboards, and resource planning systems.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent practical experience with the project management foundation and fundamentals.
  • Bachelors degree
  • 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strategic program update materials to keep key executive stakeholders informed on progress and challenges
  • Partner with technology directors, business leads, and senior stakeholders to align initiatives with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor resource allocation, crew staffing, and cost forecasts across multiple initiatives and delivery projects.
  • Leverage enterprise reporting dashboards and KPI tracking to support readouts for executive and CIO-level audiences.
  • Analyze financials, program metrics, and resource data to support accurate forecasting and decision-making.
  • Understand and drive Agile Ways of Working enhancements across multiple crews/wings supporting Strategic Programs
  • Drive cross-functional communication and deliver clear, high-quality presentations to leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to program governance, standards, and project delivery frameworks.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
