About The Position

CrowdStrike is a global leader in cybersecurity, protecting organizations with an advanced AI-native platform. This role is for an Operations Program Manager supporting the Sensor Foundations Platform Group, which builds robust sensor infrastructure, platform engineering capabilities, and cloud services. The position involves managing large-scale, complex engineering projects in a fast-paced environment, utilizing AI-enhanced approaches. The role combines hands-on program leadership for platform and cloud engineering teams across different geographies with the development of AI-powered solutions to automate tasks and improve decision-making. Collaboration with teams in Europe and the United States is essential to manage dependencies and resolve issues. This is a hybrid role based in Sunnyvale, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office.

Requirements

  • 5+ years managing complex platform engineering and infrastructure programs with 100+ engineers.
  • Jira proficiency and Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
  • Proven track record owning programs/portfolios of products/features, scoping requirements, and planning milestones.
  • Solid organizational awareness with ability to navigate complex organizational structures and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to extrapolate context from complex technical conversations and provide teams with valuable summations around action items and next steps.
  • Attention to detail with ability to make logical, timely decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Excel at proactively driving results while serving as an active resource for technical teams.
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub, Copilot) as daily workflow accelerators.
  • Ability to build Claude skills, AI workflows, and prompt engineering solutions.
  • Experience integrating AI into existing enterprise workflows and infrastructure tools.
  • Comfort with light development in Python or Go for AI automation scripts.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
  • Experience managing distributed platform and cloud engineering teams across timezones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills that create impact beyond individual contributions, fostering collaboration across organizational boundaries.
  • Must work effectively with cross-functional groups across divisions worldwide as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience supporting platform engineering portfolios that drive infrastructure, build systems, cloud architecture, and system reliability.
  • Deep familiarity with build systems, deployment automation, infrastructure monitoring, and platform scaling.
  • Knowledge of sensor core technologies, endpoint platforms, and system performance optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner and facilitate directly with platform engineering, cloud engineering, and sensor core teams at all levels, from debugging deployment issues to providing executive updates.
  • Demonstrate technical fluency in architecture, cloud infrastructure, build systems, and platform engineering practices to align with business objectives and drive project deliverables, resources, and timelines.
  • Drive operational decision-making processes, facilitating discussions between engineering teams to resolve architectural challenges, infrastructure dependencies, and build system optimizations.
  • Create and drive operation schedules for sensor foundations activities, working with engineering management on task assignments and managing progress of portfolio phases.
  • Collaborate with multiple worldwide business units to clearly identify, explain, and communicate process involvement, goals, expectations, and deliverables for sensor infrastructure programs.
  • Proactively track status of platform engineering activities and ensure schedules and priorities are met for sensor releases, infrastructure scaling, and build system improvements.
  • Ensure critical infrastructure issues are identified, tracked through resolution, and escalated appropriately.
  • Manage daily/weekly communication and status reporting for complex sensor platform activities.
  • Support distributed teams and cross-functional partners on frameworks and shared accountability, synthesizing processes to drive aligned, executable outcomes.
  • Build AI-powered dashboards and automated reporting systems using Claude skills and agentic workflows for operations monitoring and insights.
  • Create intelligent integrations between business systems (Jira, GitLab, monitoring tools, build systems) that surface organizational health and procedure risks automatically.
  • Develop AI agents that proactively identify process and team bottlenecks, lack of resource utilization, team organizational health, and resource scaling opportunities.
