About The Position

ANEW is a nonprofit organization founded in 1980 that helps underserved populations enter apprenticeships and family-wage careers, while working to change the culture and demographics of historically non-diverse industries. The Program Manager I plans, coordinates, and oversees ANEW’s Youth Exploration Program (YEP), a youth-focused construction career exploration program introducing participants to construction, skilled trades, and related industries. Reporting to the Program Manager II, this role manages day-to-day operations, develops and maintains community and industry partnerships, and ensures participants have engaging, hands-on learning experiences that build career awareness and workforce readiness. It oversees schedules, budgets, reporting, and compliance with organizational policies and safety standards. The Program Manager I is a key liaison among youth, families, educators, employers, and community stakeholders, and may work across programs to maintain service continuity.
