About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Program Manager I opening for our client. This role involves managing multiple related projects and ongoing operations impacting three or more business or functional areas. The Program Manager will establish project scope, objectives, roles, responsibilities, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements. They will develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including forecasts, schedules, budgets, communication plans, risk plans, quality plans, and resource plans. This position requires working closely with stakeholders and project managers to gather requirements, monitor cost, schedule, technical performance, and project deliverables. The role also includes managing program execution, budgets, forecasts, project work, and approved scope changes. Key responsibilities involve monitoring program performance, identifying variances, implementing corrective actions, and communicating status to stakeholders and executive management. The Program Manager will identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints, escalating matters requiring management attention. They will coordinate resources across constituent projects to support overall program objectives and build team cohesiveness and improve team performance through leadership, mentoring, training, and motivation. Ensuring adherence to risk management, regulatory requirements, internal controls, and company policies is crucial. The role also supports the implementation of internal and external audit requirements and addresses issues raised by regulators. Promoting an inclusive environment that supports diversity and reflects the organization's values, as well as exercising managerial responsibilities related to staffing, performance management, appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, and terminations, are also key aspects of this position. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of proven project management experience, or In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 12 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 8 years of proven project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
  • Experience with program planning and execution, stakeholder and executive communication, risk management, governance, and dependency management.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and build consensus.
  • Experience communicating initiative status and program information to executive management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective relationships with clients, management, business partners, and peers.
  • Ability to build trust, encourage respect, and work effectively with diverse perspectives.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
  • Master's degree.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
