We are currently seeking a Program Manager I to provide inclusive and engaging leadership for our residential and psychiatric programs. As a Program Manager I, you will be responsible for developing and implementing program enhancements that strengthen patient engagement and outcomes. You will ensure that every child and family receives care rooted in our values of respect, accountability, and integrity. By managing program operations—from staffing and recruitment to compliance and safety—you will play a vital role in ensuring our environments remain stable and effective.

Requirements

  • High School diploma is required.
  • A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.
  • Two or more years in a management role OR four or more years of direct care experience in a residential or psychiatric hospital environment.
  • A combination of management and direct care experience totaling at least four years is also accepted.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Capability to achieve proficiency in systems such as My Avatar, Citrix, and ADP, as well as program curricula like TST and PBIS.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services, Education, Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respectful and inclusive leadership to employees across all backgrounds.
  • Oversee the integrity of patient care, ensuring essential needs are met and rights are respected.
  • Partner with leadership to plan resources and ensure adequate staffing through recruitment and onboarding.
  • Evaluate program stability and adjust resources to enhance safety and effectiveness.
  • Manage direct care employees, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and professional development.
  • Ensure program compliance with local licensing, accreditation, and KVC policies.
  • Coordinate safety protocols, including workers’ compensation and incident reporting.
