About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Program Manager (HVAC & Engine Systems) in Auburn Hills, MI. This role ensures global coherence, commonality, and coordination across Modules, Platforms, Top Hats, and Programs for HVAC & Engine Systems. The Program Manager will report program status and milestone reviews to senior leadership. Responsibilities include monitoring and controlling unit-level activities such as design modifications, packaging issue resolution, production standards, readiness at Stellantis milestones, SCA implementation, KPIs, risk analysis, test plans, sourcing, weight, cost convergence, style feasibility, and validation. The role also involves managing product safety and durability studies, guaranteeing process feasibility with manufacturing, overseeing plant readiness for budget convergence, managing workload deviations, executing escalation processes, and coordinating unit team participation in development phases. The Program Manager will lead hot housing kick-offs, support regional Sub-System Technical Leads, develop responses to vehicle line investigations, control technical solutions, approve design changes, and address lessons learned. The goal is to meet cost, quality, performance, and planning targets while complying with Internal Control System rules. The role is responsible and accountable for application deliverables, detailed application design, and implementation to meet vehicle timelines. Additionally, the Program Manager will manage a team of engineers, oversee development and delivery of systems/components and technology, provide guidance on system interface designs, participate in and manage teams using multiple software development life cycles (Agile, Waterfall), offer solutions to issues, and manage business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience with HVAC systems and/or engine systems, including one or more of the following: Fuel systems, Exhaust systems, Intake systems, Cooling systems
  • Familiarity with multiple software development life cycles including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience in overseeing system interface designs.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control unit-level activities such as design modifications, packaging issue resolution, production standards, readiness at Stellantis milestones, SCA implementation, KPIs, risk analysis, test plans, sourcing, weight, cost convergence, style feasibility, and validation.

  • Responsible and accountable for application deliverables, detailed application design, and implementation to meet vehicle timeline.
  • Manage a team of engineers.
  • Oversee development and deliver to production service delivery platform's systems/components and technology, ensuring specifications and designs meet best practices.
  • Provide guidance and feedback on system interface designs to project and architecture teams.
  • Participate in and manage team utilizing multiple software development life cycles including Agile, Waterfall, and other methodologies.
  • Offer solutions and designs to solve process, project, or program issues; provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage business and technical stakeholders and produce design documents suitable for multiple audience types, both client-facing and internal.
