The Government Relations Program Manager supports the development, coordination, and execution of the health system's government relations and advocacy strategy. This role serves as a key liaison between the health system and local, state, and federal government stakeholders, monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, coordinating advocacy initiatives, and supporting organizational leaders in advancing public policy priorities that improve patient care, community health, and the long-term sustainability of the healthcare system. The Program Manager works to strengthen relationships with policymakers and promote legislative and regulatory solutions aligned with the organization's mission, vision, goals and strategic objectives. The Program Manager serves as a strategic individual contributor within the health system's Government Relations function, playing a critical role in advancing the organization's advocacy priorities and public policy agenda. As a key member of a highly collaborative and nimble team, this position has significant visibility and works collaboratively with executive team members, operational leaders, and governing bodies, while serving as a trusted partner in the development and execution of advocacy strategies. The Program Manager is expected to independently manage complex initiatives, provide policy analysis and strategic recommendations, and represent the organization in high-profile external engagements.
