About The Position

This position serves as the city’s primary liaison to federal, state, regional, and local governmental entities. This role is responsible for advocating the city’s interests, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring compliance with lobbying regulations. The position also oversees legislative analysis, intergovernmental coordination, and the administration of grant and contract programs, while supporting executive leadership with timely policy insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution
• Four years of legislative and/or public policy experience
• One year of supervisory experience within the government relations field
• Possess, at time of application, and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations within the past 36 months prior to the start date
• Reside in the State of Arizona during active employment

Benefits

• The full salary range is listed above and mid-point for this position is $140,920 annually.
