Strategies to Empower People is seeking a full-time Program Manager for its Behavioral Support Services program. This role involves coordinating, developing, and implementing community-based supported living services for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) who face consistent and severe behavioral and medical challenges. The Program Manager works with a team of Directors, Managers, and Field Supervisors to oversee services in the Sacramento area. This position requires direct engagement with individuals who may exhibit aggressive behaviors in their homes and communities. Responsibilities span administrative duties like documentation and reports, supervising field staff, conducting on-site client assessments, providing hands-on support, and developing client plans. The manager directly supervises field supervisors and one-on-one staff, ensuring the health, safety, and success of both clients and employees. Due to the needs of the client population, the role also involves implementing crisis intervention plans, writing therapeutic treatment plans, conducting quality assurance checks, and other high-level supervisory and management tasks. This is a salaried exempt position with an on-call schedule Monday through Friday and rotating on-call weekends, indicating it is not a standard 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. role, but rather requires the manager to be a constant and accessible resource.
