Under general direction, the Fatherhood Program Manager leads the planning, coordination, and administration of the Alameda County Fathers Corps, a collaborative initiative that promotes and advocates for father-friendly services and supports fathers and father figures in being meaningfully engaged with their children and families. Working collaboratively with internal and external partners, the position supports program implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement to advance the goals and impact of the Fathers Corps. The position also provides guidance and coordination to program consultants and Fathers Corps members but does not exercise direct supervision of staff. Two (2) Fatherhood Program Manager positions are available. One of the two positions requires fluency in Spanish, including speaking, reading, and writing. Spanish fluency is not required for the other position. Candidates who wish to be considered for the Spanish-speaking position should indicate their Spanish language proficiency as part of the application process.
