About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Chief Philanthropy Officer, the Program Manager is responsible for the donor engagement program focused on patient relations. The program is designed to develop and sustain positive relationships with donors and trustees and steward donors at the foundations. In coordination with the Foundation, the Program Manager develops and administers the program, including resource management and related budget and project management responsibilities. The Program Manager serves as a patient advocate and liaison between patients and the medical center, supporting donor needs related to medical-care guidance, access, shared understanding of terms and processes, and access to allied hospital departments and physician offices. This role does not affect the speed, type, or level of medical care provided; all patients receive the same high-quality medical care. The role also leads development and execution of project plans for Major Gift Officers, including annual giving programs and moves management. The position requires accessibility and willingness to work an on-call, variable schedule, with availability to travel to the hospital or donor home or business locations as needed during assigned days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.
