About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead large-scale facility modernization and expansion projects at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant. As a Program Manager, you will deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while leading a cross-functional team and communicating effectively with executive leadership and government customers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
Minimum 8 years of relevant project management experience in Defense, Construction, or Oil/Gas/Chemical industries.
Effective verbal and written communication with upper management and customers.
Proficient in technical writing, such as proposal and statement of work development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

Masters Degree in a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA Level III Program Management certification.
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar tools.
Experience with integrated master schedules using MS Project, Primavera, etc.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams.
Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong focus on delivering results and meeting project goals.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale (> $100M) complex Capital Investment projects, ensuring timely, budgeted, and quality delivery.
Manage project finances, ensuring budget adherence and financial target achievement.
Provide regular updates to executive leadership and government customers on project status, progress, and issues.
Oversee sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements and quality standards are met.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
