About The Position

Turning Point Centers is a dually licensed, nationally accredited leader in substance abuse and mental health treatment, serving Utah since 2007. With locations throughout Salt Lake and Davis counties, we provide a full continuum of care as a contracted, in-network provider. Our approach is patient-centered and outcomes-driven, using evidence-based modalities including: CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) MI (Motivational Interviewing) EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). We pride ourselves on a collaborative, supportive environment with an interdisciplinary approach to care. This position is for our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Holladay, supporting adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The role involves working closely with therapists and medical staff to help create a safe, trauma-informed environment that promotes healing and long-term recovery.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Certified Case Manager or ability to become one within 30 days
Must be able to pass a federal background check through the Department of Human Services (Violent/Sexual/Predatory charges and/or convictions will result in denial of background check)
Excellent communication and listening skills
Empathy and the ability to work with people in distress

Nice To Haves

Experience with Medicaid population
2+ year experience in substance use or mental health
Bachelor's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

Facilitate psychoeducation groups
Assist clients with case management needs including finding resources in the community
Meet 1:1 with patients needing case management needs
Complete concise and timely clinical notes.
Conduct the intake process for new admits.
Attend weekly clinical team meetings.
