We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Program Manager to join our team at Fleet Canada Inc. The Program Management team serves as the central coordinating function between our customers and internal departments, ensuring customer requirements are clearly communicated, understood, and successfully executed. As a Program Manager, you will act as a primary representative of Fleet Canada to our customers while also representing customer requirements internally. You will work closely with Fleet’s Executive Management team and a multidisciplinary group of Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other departments to ensure programs are delivered on time, within expectations, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong customer focus, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly while balancing customer requirements, business objectives, engineering requirements, and quality standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in program management, project management, customer account management, or a related role, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
Experience reviewing RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, project schedules, or customer requirements is preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple programs, competing priorities, and deadlines within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated customer relationship experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
Must be a self-starter with strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to demonstrate leadership, initiative, and accountability.
Minimum completion of two years of post-secondary education or equivalent previous experience demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of aerospace manufacturing requirements for structural components, including metal forming, machining, and composite manufacturing, is considered an asset.
Experience working with aerospace OEMs such as De Havilland, Boeing, Gulfstream, or similar organizations is considered an asset.
Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management software is considered an asset.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, developing and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Represent Fleet Canada externally with customers and internally as the voice of the customer.
Conduct regular customer meetings and provide program updates, reports, schedules, and supporting documentation as required.
Manage customer expectations and ensure requirements remain aligned with Fleet Canada’s capabilities, commitments, and contractual obligations.
Review and assess incoming Request for Quote (RFQ) packages.
Coordinate RFQ responses across internal departments, including pricing, scheduling, risk assessment, profitability analysis, and technical requirements.
Review and negotiate incoming purchase orders, contractual requirements, delivery schedules, and other customer obligations.
Lead new customer projects and programs from initial planning and launch through production and delivery.
Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items.
Track program costs, risks, schedules, and overall performance against established objectives.
Lead regular cross-functional program and project meetings to communicate priorities, resolve issues, and maintain progress.
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Executive Management to support successful program execution.
Monitor active purchase orders and program commitments to support on-time delivery.
Identify potential program risks, schedule concerns, and customer issues and coordinate corrective actions with the appropriate internal teams.
Ensure customer requirements are met while maintaining compliance with Fleet Canada’s quality, engineering, and operational policies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to program execution, customer service, cost, quality, and delivery performance.
