About The Position

The Program Manager 3 will partner to find and create solutions that meet the responsibilities of the Church. This role fosters an environment of trust and unity, building upon strengths and ideas to create effective products and deliver timely communication. The purpose of this role is to clearly understand and communicate project objectives and goals, organize the needed resources to meet project requirements, and own project-level scope, schedule, and budget. The Program Manager 3 will ensure projects adhere to Church process and policy equivalent to the sphere of work and act as a project generalist, managing a range of project types. This role engages when multiple deliverables coalesce into a cohesive whole and end-to-end management is needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in related field, including 6 years of project management or Master's degree and 6 years of experience.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget of projects that are typically of high complexity and high profile with many deliverables in many languages.
  • Manage and communicate between cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in a project management system, for example WorkFront
  • Interface and communicate with senior-level leaders.
  • Lead and manage a group of project managers.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or other project management certification recognized in specific industries.

Responsibilities

  • Understands, coordinates, and manages client and resource team expectations.
  • Plans, directs, manages, monitors, controls, and closes projects of high complexity and high profile.
  • Uses standard processes to ensure projects/programs include all and only the work required to complete the project successfully.
  • Uses standard processes to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Uses standard processes to ensure projects are completed within the approved budget.
  • Uses standard processes to ensure the project will satisfy the needs for which it was undertaken.
  • Uses personal skills and standard processes to make the most effective use of the project team; may include leading a group of project managers.
  • Uses standard processes to ensure timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and ultimate disposition of project information. Provides the critical links among people (including senior-level leaders), ideas, and information that are necessary for success.
  • Uses standard process to identify, analyze, and respond to project risk.
  • Uses standard processes to acquire goods and services from providers.
