Program Manager 1 - Women's Rise (New Haven)
About The Position
The Program Manager 1 provides programmatic and daily oversight of Women’s Rise, a 16-bed, DOC-funded residential work release program for adult women under DOC supervision. Women’s Rise provides case management, job readiness, and substance-use and mental-health education to support women returning to their communities. The position manages and reports on day-to-day program operations, including scheduling, facility matters, contract obligations, and fiscal management. Working within Adult Services and in collaboration with Community Justice program staff, the Program Manager helps rehabilitate, educate, and guide clients as they transition from incarceration back into the community. The schedule is full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with flexibility to meet program needs. Newly hired employees must attend a mandatory two-day orientation at the organization’s Roscommon office in Middletown.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Five years of related experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
