Paraprofessionals in the RISE Autism Program play an important role in providing behavioral and academic support to students and are often the first go-to person for students during the day. This program is for students with unique needs. This role involves working collaboratively with licensed and other staff to assist students with academic, behavioral/social/emotional, instruction, and daily living skills. It also includes assisting in the implementation of assigned tasks, monitoring student independence, and assisting with daily living activities. Communication of student progress with case managers is also a key responsibility.
